Rooted in Zanzibar
The Zanzibar Community Fund (ZCF) was born from the belief that lasting change must come from within. We are a locally-led charitable organisation working across the islands of Unguja and Pemba, guided by the Ubuntu spirit of Umoja — unity.
From the spice-scented alleys of Stone Town to the coral-fringed villages of Pemba’s north coast, we partner with communities to address their most pressing needs — in education, health, economic empowerment, and environmental stewardship.
We honour Zanzibar’s rich tapestry of Swahili, Arab, Persian, and African heritage — and believe that preserving culture is inseparable from building futures.
